QUINTA DO VALE DA PERDIZ
The “Quinta do Vale da Perdiz” is located in the heart of the Douro Superior near the village of Torre de Moncorvo. The fourteen hectares of vines of the Quinta lay on both sides of the valley from which the “Quinta” takes its name. On the vineyards, planted on schistose soil and displayed in “socalcos”, one can find all the main traditional red grape varieties from the Douro region: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.
QUINTA DA PONTE DE PAU
Located in the Vilariça Valley this “Quinta” has a total area of 8,5 ha. A vineyard with over 35 years occupies half of its area. In the old vineyard as it is called one can find some 20 different varieties some of which very hard to identify. The remainder of the “Quinta” was planted 15 years ago with the red varieties: Touriga Nacional (23,8%), Tinta Roriz (23,8%) and Touriga Franca (23,8%) and the white varieties: Arinto, Fernão Pires and Rabigato.
QUINTA DA VERGEIRA
This 8,5 ha estate is 1 Km away from the Douro river. 5 ha were replanted in 2002 with Tinta Roriz (50%), Touriga Franca (25%) and Touriga Nacional (25%). In the remainder of the vineyard one can find the same varieties mentioned above and also Tinta Barroca.
QUINTA DO VALE DA PIA
Quinta do Vale da Pia is also located in a valley near Torre de Moncorvo. This 100 ha estate has a 10 ha vineyard. The vineyard was planted 20 years ago with the varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.
QUINTA DAS CHÃS
Quinta das Chãs is located in the Vilariça Valley the most fertile area of the Douro Superior region. With a total area of 6,8 ha the vineyard is planted with Tinta Roriz (40%), Tinta Barroca (30%) and Tinta Amarela (30%).
VINHA DO REBORÊDO
This vineyard is located inside the village of Torre de Moncorvo near the outskirts of the Serra do Reboredo – a small mountain the Quinta was named after. The 3 ha vineryard surrounds the winery where the company wines are made. This vineyard only has white varieties – Arinto, Malvasia Fina, Códega, Códega do Larinho and Rabigato.
